I’ve been on a lot of trips and planes this year, but not all of them have been adventures. Walking around London the other week, that was an adventure. We weren’t there to work or attend an event or be anywhere at any time. It was a recalibration for my soul and a recharge I didn’t even know I needed.
Adventure is a NUTRIENT.
Adventure doesn’t mean another trip to Vegas (God no. Please no). It means risk, exploring, naughtiness, foolishness, reveling in the joy of booking a ‘bucket’ trip but replacing the ‘b’ with an ‘f’.
We’ve gotta stop thinking that polished adulting is always our goal and that those who’s lives are the most orderly are the winners. Yuck.
